John has been delivering excellence in marketing research and consulting since 1993. He has worked with clients across a variety of industries including packaged goods, tourism, automotive, durables, technology, government, management consulting, food & beverage, and financial services. Prior to founding market-i, John held various senior international research and corporate management positions, with Lieberman Research Worldwide, as Managing Director Europe. And prior to that he held positions within Synovate Research where he headed corporate development and marketing for Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
John’s expertise areas include the application of sociological models in the development of strategic communications; the application of advanced statistical methods to market segmentation analysis; the development of customer experience measurement platforms using web technologies.
He has lived and worked in several countries in Europe and the Middle East. John holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania; BS in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Irvine; and an MS in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
John is currently the UAE National Representative for ESOMAR, European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research. Under John’s leadership, market-I has won the UAE Business Award for the Best Boutique Digital Marketing Company for 2020. John was also the 2016 winner of the ESOMAR MENAP forum best paper award MENAP forum for his paper on the application of mobile technologies to ethnographic research.
