Paul Neto is currently Chief Marketing Officer at Measure Protocol, a blockchain-powered economy for human-generated data. Prior to entering the blockchain world, Paul spent time at Kantar Canada as VP Digital & Media. Paul also spent time as Sr. Research Director at YuMe, a multi-screen digital video brand advertising provider, where his efforts have led to YuMe being rated in 2015 only behind Google, Facebook and AOL for providing advanced research and market insights. Paul has spent the last fifteen+ years pioneering research and data technologies and prior to joining YuMe, Paul was co-founder and VP of Research and Operations at Crowd Science. At Crowd Science, which was acquired by YuMe in late 2012, Paul worked with some of the largest Internet publishers such as Forbes, Reuters, Everyday Health and Federated Media Publishing, using surveys and big data to harvest audience-based insights and improve ad targeting technology. Prior to co-founding Crowd Science, Paul led a team of technologists in building and supporting online survey recruitment and brand measurement technologies at ComScore and SurveySite. As a graduate from the University of Waterloo, Paul began his career in geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing working with CARIS dealing with large geo-spatial databases in application areas related to internet mapping, development SDKs and territorial dispute offshore mapping.
