Kantar, WPP’s data and consulting company, has appointed Reed Cundiff – previously a Microsoft executive – as their Chief Executive Officer for the North American region. His appointment will come into effect as of 1 May, 2019, replacing Wayne Levings.
Cundiff joins Kantar after spending the last fourteen years with Microsoft as General Manager of Customer and Market Research, where he was responsible for a digital transformation of Microsoft’s customer insights.
Remarking on Cundiff’s appointment, Kantar CEO Eric Salama said: “Reed understands what it means to deliver for clients. He is tech savvy, entrepreneurial, a clear thinker who puts an emphasis on execution and accountability, and has built strong teams that have performed at a high level.”
Reed also commented on the new hire, stating: ““Our industry is in the middle of a dynamic transformation, and I’m thrilled to work with the fantastic team at Kantar to build on what has already been done and to evolve and expand the way we deliver value to our clients.”
Reed is the programme committee chair for ESOMAR’s upcoming Congress in Edinburgh.
