The Market Research Institute International (MRII), in cooperation with the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education, has expanded its Principles Express line of courses. This new line, introduced last year, offers 9- to 12-hour on-demand courses on a range of topics, with interactive exercises and in-depth content. The courses now include:

  • Sampling in Market Research
  • Qualitative Market Research – just introduced
  • Quantitative Data Collection Methods
  • Analytics 1-2-3, a newly introduced bundle of the following courses, which are also available separately:
    • Working with Secondary Data: Syndicated and Big Data
    • Introduction to Data Analysis
    • Advanced Analytic Techniques
  • Communicating Research Results
  • Global Market Research
  • Emerging Methods and the Future of Market Research – just introduced

Each course is available to ESOMAR members at a 15% discount, in recognition of the role ESOMAR played as a pioneering early supporter of the MRII in the 1990s.

As part of the development of Principles Express, the MRII and UGA are systematically updating the MRCBOK™ (the Marketing Research Core Body of Knowledge). Originally developed in 1994 by William Neal and Dr. Malcolm McNiven and shepherded ever since by the Market Research Institute International, the MRCBOK represents an international consensus of business practitioners on the essential foundation for a research education.MRII board president Dan Coates, in a prepared statement, said “MRII is excited to add these Principles Express courses to our continuing education offerings. We’ve updated these courses with added content and more interactive exercises. We now offer more courses than ever before in our history, helping researchers come up to speed quickly.”
