Javier Otaduy is a psychologist from the Universidad Iberoamericana de México, obtained a Certificate in Marketing from UC Berkeley, and an M.A. in Marketing from ITAM. He has worked in Strategic Planning management positions at some of the 3 most important global advertising agencies: McCann Erickson, Ogilvy, and J. Walter Thompson. He worked at the Instituto de Investigación de la Comunicación A.C., Asesoría e Investigaciones Gamma, and Research International. 12 years ago he became an independent consultant in Branding, Communication and Market Intelligence. He was co-author of the book "#efecto mezcal", author of "Brand Genome", about the process to build a strong and lasting brand; and "Perception Twist", "Brand Sketching", and "Happy Hour".
