ESOMAR’s long-term partner Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS) rebrands to The Research Society

The leading body for research in Australia, AMSRS, has over 2,000 members and 80 company clients with experience in leading the Australian research, insights and analytics community for 65 years, has announced on 3rd May a rebrand to a fresh new name – The Research Society.

The Research Society has been instrumental in decisions made by government, business and not for profit sector across the country and ensures the stringent protection of research participants and designers through the enforcement of the Code of Professional Behaviour, alongside ongoing industry training.

The Research Society Board decided to undergo the rebranding in its 65th year in order to best re-align and refresh the organization to better fit the dramatic changes experienced in the industry.

Not just a new look, the rebrand boasts a raft of new initiatives designed to move more from just individual members conducting market research and social research, to a contemporary organization with global links designed for the research, insights and data industries.

Elisa Molloy, the chief executive of The Research Society says the new look best represents the organisation’s contemporary new suite of services to support research professionals and partner organisations.”

“As the leading Australian research and insights community for over 65 years, we know this is the best time to refresh our look and bring on new services to reflect a changing world and to support our members in their careers.

“Our rebrand and the raft of new opportunities and services we are introducing reinforces our confidence in the smart creative research industry we support. New services we are launching over the coming months include: mentoring, live and on-demand online training, networking and conferences (including digital conferences), accreditation and a new suite of research awards all designed to reflect the dynamism of our industry,” Ms Molloy said.
